July 24th - Dark Moon Shielding

As the wheel of the year turns, we are now past the solstice and the days are slowly getting shorter. Not so much that it's noticeable yet, at least not here in Taos where the mountains that surround us make the start and end of the day a little more... liminal. But the tomatoes are starting to swell and the corn is getting tall, providing little reminders that we are slowly turning towards the start of harvest season.

The world continues to turn, even with the uncertainty and unraveling taking place around us. 

For this month's dark moon, we are feeling called to do a communal working for ourselves, our communities, and the land we call home. In circle together, we'll raise energy to build a protective sphere around "our community", whatever that means to each of us. Like we are reaching down and pulling up a big, cozy blanket over our homes, our people, and the lands we hold dear.

If you have specific people or groups in your life who you want to offer this protection to, bring their names to incorporate into the working.
