Summer Solstice Dance Party - June 20th

The world is on fire, might as well dance.

Dance is movement, dance is healing, dance is magic. Throughout history and across cultures, dance has been a way to remember ourselves, our power, and our humanity in the face of change and oppression. When we move our bodies, we are resisting. When we gather in community, we are resisting. When we listen to and make music and art, we are resisting. 

"A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having"

So this Friday, June 20th, come dance with us. Dance to help us celebrate the longest day of sunlight we will have this year. Dance to burn off extra energy because Facebook fights probably aren't productive :) Dance to be with other people, united in the ways the music asks us to move. And dance to put magic and intention into the world. 

What to Expect

When: June 20th at 6pm

Where: Crone & Crow: 108A Civic Plaza Drive in Taos, right next to SOMOS

What: Dance Party! Chair dancing encouraged!

We'll gather at 6pm to set a gentle container and intentions together before we start. We are a teaching and learning space, so if you are new to magical circles, you are very welcome. We're here to help guide.

Then we'll dance!

Bring snacks to share if you can! Dancing and magic both burn calories. Food helps us care for ourselves, grounds us in the world, and creates connections when shared.
