Trementina/Rose Salve

Brenda's Botanicals salves are made from the resin, also called trementina, of the piñon tree.

Trementina is a traditional remedy that has been used for generations in Northern New Mexico. The sap from the Piñon tree is a natural antiseptic with great healing qualities, which makes it a widely used salve for many skin irritations such as psoriasis, eczema, bug bits, bee/wasp stings, boils/skin eruptions, splinters, dry, cracked skin (hands and feet), burns (sun/wind), and any other skin ailment.

The addition of rose lends some additional skin soothing properties, as well as smelling lovely.

Ingredients: Piñon Sap, Olive Oil, Beeswax, Lanolin, Essential oil of Rose, Piñon (Trementina) Salve is available in 1-ounce tins.
